Area and volume measurement, LIDAR scanning, 3D modeling, mapping, pollution and air quality measurement.
Aerial surveying and mapping is an efficient data-collection method that quickly forms a picture of the surveyed area. The data gathered by the drone can then be used to produce accurate 2D maps or 3D models.
Area and volume measurements gather material which can then be analysed to calculate gradients, surface area or volume of the inspected terrain. RTK GPS receivers and ground control points (GCPs) can be used to further increase accuracy.
Other measuring instruments are also available according to need. Typical instruments used in drone surveying include LIDAR scanners and instruments measuring air pollution, radiation or signals.
